The Groove from SmokTech

This is a variable volt, variable watt mod. The Groove adjusts from 3.0 to 6.0 Volts in .1-volt increments or 3.0 to 15 Watts in .5-Watt increments and has a cool backlit OLED display. The Groove has a maximum output of 5 Amps.

The Groove can read your output voltage, battery voltage and cartomizer / atomizer resistance.

The Groove is 510 and eGo compatible. With the power of varaible volt you can use almost any 510 tank or carto you have.

There are ample vent holes in the side of this APV for added safety.

The groove has an internal 3.7V, 3800mAh Li-polymer battery that lasts far beyond most other batteries. Included with the APV are a mini USB to USB cable for charging with a computer and a USB to AC adapter for charging with a wall outlet. The Groove cannot be used while it is being recharged.

The button on the top of the Groove can turn the device on and off with 5 quick pushes. Read the resistance of your cartomizer or tank by holding the "+" button for 3 seconds. Easily adjust Voltage or Wattage by using the "+" or "-" button. Hold down the "+" and "-" buttons together for 3 seconds to switch between Voltage and Wattage. Output Voltage or Wattage is displayed when you press down the top button. Battery Voltage is displayed by pressing the "-" button for 3 seconds.

There is a 90 Day warranty for device failures under normal use.

The built in display will display output voltage, battery remaining voltage, atomizer resistance, power on/off, and LED on/off.

The Smoktech ZMAX Mini V2 features a 5amp switch. The switch also is able to rotate 360 degrees so you will never get a stuck switch.

The ZMAX Mini V2 comes with an eGo compatible thread. Which makes it suitable fo for use with most eGo or 510 atomizers, cartomizers, clearomizers etc

The ZMAX V2 Mini uses a single 18350 battery. You may purchase an extender sleeve to adapt to an 18650 battery.

The ZMAX V2 Mini settings and menu is operated by the single button on the unit.

We recommend reading the instructional and looking through the menu on the ZMAX V2 Mini to familiarize yourself with the various settings and adjustments available.


ZMAX MINI user adjustable settings:

1. Uu- Voltage up
2. Ud- Voltage down
3. So- Standby / on/off
4. Uc- Battery voltage check
5. Ds- Display change / Resistance O/Voltage output/Voltage under load 'live'
6. Lo- LED on/off
7. Up- Voltage power (Wattage setting)
8. Allows for the more precise calculation using the RMS (Root Mean Square) algorithm.
Po- Constant power operation
Uo- Constant voltage operation

Error codes :

LOR---Lower resistance indication; If the resistance is below 1.2ohm,the display will show "Low Load".

LOU---Lower voltage indication. If the battery voltage is below 3.4V the display will show "Low Voltage".

WSC---Short circuit indication. If cartomizer/atomizer output port short-circuit, the display will show "Warning Short Circuit".

Low Battery Indicator --- When the battery gets low the red lighted pushbutton will slowly flash indicating that your battery is low.

Due to the advanced nature of this device there is no returns and no warranty expressed on atomizers, cartomizers etc... used on this device.

With your classic clearomizer designs, they were meant to be a more disposable. With either fixed non-replaceable atomizers, or a simple replaceable wick atomizer, housed in a light clear plastic tank, that could easily with react certain juices, such as cinnamon flavors. This could lead to cracks and leakage!

Now in with the New...

The Kanger Protank Glassomizer, is built with a robust hard metal base and tip. To replace the clear plastic tank, it now has a thick Polly-Carbonate Glass. And the atomizers are very easy to replace, just unscrew the bottom and remove the old atomizer.

Most other clearomizers come with the eGo style 510 threading. This means anyone with a mod without the raised eGo thread was out of luck, unless you were to use a 510 to eGo adapter. This however, in inadvisable as doing so will void all warranties! The Kanger ProTank uses your standard 510 threading, but to accommodate 510 mod users, the kit also comes with an eGo cone cover. This lends a flush look to your eGo compatible devices.
